Hunter Iveco Sport 5.6t
The 2 HORSE 5.6t IVECO SPORT is Hunter’s base model in the range, but this doesn’t mean it is any less practical than our other models with a compact yet very functional, spacious layout. Included is our triple reinforced bulkhead, a choice of one or two large external tack lockers, grooms’ area and beautifully appointed single padded seat.
This model comes into its own as a day tripper style horsebox. Plenty of room for changing in the grooms area with 12v socket and leisure battery (charged by the truck). Open wardrobe, hanging rail, mirror and bench seat make it great for helping you get competition ready.
Chassis
The Hunter Iveco Luxe 56 is built on 5.6t Iveco Daily chassis.
With a 180hp, 3ltr twin turbo diesel engine. It comes as standard with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, 8 speed auto gearbox, electric park brake, air suspension drivers seat, fog lights.
With aprox. 2000kg of payload, & adjustable airbag suspension, it will get you and your horses safely & comfortably to your destination
Horse Area
The Hunter Sport comes with a 2.8m (L) x 2.4m (H) x 1.05m (W) bay for each horse, with adjustable divider (stallion or standard partition) & adjustable/removable breast bars, catering for ponies & big warmbloods.
An electric roof cooling fan with temperature control cab display, 2 pop up roof vents & side windows ensures your horses have adequate ventilation.
Studies have proven that horses travelling backwards show less signs of stress and balance related behaviours, than those transported facing forwards*.
Grooms Area
The Hunter Sport offers a 1.3m grooms’ area with rear and horse area access.
With an open wardrobe, hanging rail, mirror, 12v socket and LED lighting. There are 2 saddle poles with bridle hooks and an open storage bin and a beautifully upholstered single bench seat making putting boots on and off a breeze or for relaxing between classes.
